Its only a 2 hour flight from Tokyo Narita to Seoul Incheon. Not bad. Actually quite enjoyable.

Immediate impression of Seoul...although I know this will change as the week goes on...it really just feels like a Japanese antithesis, like if Tokyo went rogue, the result would be Seoul. Mind you We've only really had a chance to walk through Hongik area at night on a Saturday. So yeah, that perception will probably change.

Some retail stores will greet you upon entering and leaving...others wont.

Fashion typology also appears to be different, weather is colder, many are wearing wool "pea-coats".

Technology here operates on a whole nother level. Its just everywhere, even more so than in Tokyo. Great place to pull yourself away from the like-ness of Japan.

This is definitely worth a visit. At night the environment is absolutely gorgeous. The walls create a corridor into Hongik area, funneling people through this absolutely stunning environment. Then as you walk through, us the stairs / stadium / amphitheater, and you walk through the gardens, the building seamlessly melts into the landscape.
